Georgia Power Scholarship

Georgia Power - Georgia Power Company, a Southern Company, is one of the nation’s largest generators of electricity. Georgia Power is an investor-owned, tax-paying utility, serving customers in 57,000 of Georgia’s 59,000 square miles. Its 2 million customers are in all but six of Georgia’s 159 counties. A $1,500 Georgia Power Scholarship is awarded annually to a student pursuing a degree in business management.
